The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during during rear door disassembly/reassembly are shown below.

Note
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG
Using a moulding remover, disengage the 3 claws to remove the rear door inside handle bezel plug.
REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL
Using a moulding remover A, disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

While pulling the rear power window regulator switch assembly with rear door upper armrest base panel toward the rear of the vehicle, using a moulding remover A, disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

Disconnect the connector to remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly with rear door upper armrest base panel.
REMOVE REAR DOOR ARMREST COVER
Remove the rear door armrest cover.

Apply protective tape to the rear door panel as shown in the illustration.
Remove the 3 screws.
Using a clip remover, disengage the 10 clips.
w/o Rear Door Sunshade:
Disengage the 4 claws and guide.
w/ Rear Door Sunshade:
Disengage the 2 claws and guide.
Disconnect each connector.

Remove the 2 screws and rear door No. 2 trim bracket.
REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
Disconnect the connector.
Disengage the clamp.
Disengage the 9 clips to remove the rear door service hole cover.

Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, push out the pin as shown in the illustration.
Disengage the 2 claws to remove the curtain hook.

Using a clip remover, disengage the 25 clips and remove the rear door weatherstrip.
REMOVE REAR DOOR FRONT BELT SEAL
Remove the rear door front belt seal.
REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN
Remove the rear door glass run.
REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW DIVISION BAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

Remove the 2 bolts, 2 screws and rear door window division bar sub-assembly.
REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR GUIDE SEAL
Remove the 2 screws and rear door rear guide seal.
REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the hole plug.
Connect the rear power window regulator switch assembly.
Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Move the rear door glass sub-assembly so that the door glass bolts can be seen.
Turn the engine switch off.
Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Disconnect the rear power window regulator switch assembly.
Remove the 2 bolts.
Note
Do not damage the rear door glass sub-assembly.

Disengage the 3 claws to remove the rear door frame garnish.

Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear door No. 2 service hole cover.

Loosen the temporary bolt.
Note
Do not remove the temporary bolt. If the temporary bolt is removed, the rear door window regulator assembly may fall and cause damage.
Remove the 5 bolts.
Remove the rear door window regulator assembly.
Remove the temporary bolt from the rear door window regulator assembly.
REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY
REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY
Disengage the 2 claws.
Using a screwdriver, disconnect the connector.

Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, loosen the screw.
Tech Tips
The screw cannot be removed because it is integrated into the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly.
Disengage the claw to remove the rear door outside handle cover.
REMOVE REAR DOOR FRONT OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD
Disengage the 3 claws to remove the rear door front outside handle pad.
REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD
Disengage the claw.
