PURGE VALVE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 TURBO PRESSURE SENSOR

    Click here

  3. REMOVE PURGE VALVE (PURGE VSV)


    1. A01VVSTC01
      *1 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *2 No. 2 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose from the No. 1 check valve.

    2. Disconnect the fuel vapor feed hose from the No. 1 check valve.

    3. Disengage the clamp and remove the No. 1 check valve from the bracket.

      Disengage the No. 2 vacuum transmitting hose assembly from the purge valve (purge VSV).

      *1 No. 2 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose Assembly
      *2 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose

      Disconnect the purge valve (purge VSV) connector.

    6. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose assembly from the purge valve (purge VSV).

    7. Remove the fuel vapor feed hose from the purge valve (purge VSV).

    8. Disengage the clamp from the purge valve (purge VSV).

    9. Remove the bolt and purge valve (purge VSV) from the intake manifold.
