This DTC is stored when a microphone signal line is disconnected.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for 20 seconds.

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

  2. INSPECT TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER

      Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER - ROOF CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY (MANUAL (SOS) SWITCH))


    1. Disconnect the H101 telematics transceiver connector.

    2. Disconnect the T11 roof console box sub-assembly (telephone microphone assembly) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H101-33 (MCVD) - T11-4 (MACC) Always Below 1 Ω
      H101-34 (MCI+) - T11-3 (MCO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H101-35 (MCI-) - T11-2 (MCO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H101-33 (MCVD) or T11-4 (MACC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H101-34 (MCI+) or T11-3 (MCO+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H101-35 (MCI-) or T11-2 (MCO-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H101-32 (SGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
