DESCRIPTION

If the telematics transceiver detects an error in the communication between the telematics transceiver and roof console box assembly (emergency call switch) as a result of the telematics transceiver self check, this DTC will be stored.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.

  2. INSPECT ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

      Remove the roof console box assembly Click here.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      13 (SIG1) - 9 (GND3) Emergency call switch not operated 410 to 414 Ω
      13 (SIG1) - 9 (GND3) Emergency call switch operated 81 to 83 Ω

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER - ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the H101 telematics transceiver connector.

    2. Disconnect the T11 roof console box assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H101-27 (SIG1) - T11-13 (SIG1) Always Below 1 Ω
      H101-26 (SIG-) - T11-9 (GND3) Always Below 1 Ω
      H101-27 (SIG1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H101-26 (SIG-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
