DESCRIPTION
This DTC indicates a malfunction in the ECM.

| P0575 | ECM has a supervisory CPU and control ECU inside. When each input STP signal is different for 0.15 seconds or more, this DTC is output. This DTC is also output after 0.4 seconds have passed from the time a cruise cancel input signal (STP input) is input to the ECM. | ECM |
Tech Tips
The ECM receives signals from each sensor to control all the functions of the cruise control system with the supervisory CPU and control ECU. When a malfunction is detected, the fail-safe remains on until the engine switch is turned off.
PROCEDURE
CHECK FOR DTCs (DTC P0575)
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Clear the DTCs Click here.
Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
Tech Tips
If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.
Drive the vehicle at a speed for which cruise control operation is possible.
Turn the cruise control system on using the cruise control main switch (ON/OFF button).
Push the cruise control main switch to -/SET to begin control of vehicle speed by the cruise control system.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / Trouble Codes.
