The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the suspension control ECU removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the negative battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the negative battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH

  9. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  10. REMOVE SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      Note

      Do not apply excessive force to the wire harness.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and suspension control ECU.

      Note


      • Avoid any impact to the absorber control ECU.

      • Do not drop the absorber control ECU. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
