HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY(for RHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      *1 String

      Tie the string that was passed into the engine room to the end of the hood lock control cable assembly.

    2. Pull the string from the cabin until the stopper of the hood lock control cable assembly makes contact with the grommet to install.

    3. Attach the clamps and install the hood lock control cable assembly.

      *1 Hood Lock Control Cable Assembly *2 Stopper

    4. Remove the string.

  2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER RH

      B006DHE Install in this Direction

      Pass the hood lock control cable assembly and hood lock control assembly through the hood lock control cable cover RH as shown in the illustration.

    2. Connect the hood lock control assembly.

      Attach the claw and install the hood lock control cable cover RH with the screw.

  3. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

  4. INSTALL HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Connect the hood lock control lever sub-assembly to the hood lock control cable assembly.

    2. B006BJL

      Attach the claw and install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER

  8. INSPECT FITTING OF HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  9. ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  10. INSTALL FRONT FENDER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY TOP RH

  11. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR

  12. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

  13. INSTALL RADIATOR COVER PLATE

  14. ADJUST FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Panoramic View Monitor System)
