Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the turbocharger sub-assembly.
PROCEDURE
REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET RH (for 2WD)
REMOVE CONVERTER ASSEMBLY RH
REMOVE CONVERTER ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE
for 2WD:
Remove the bolt and engine oil level dipstick guide.
for AWD:
Remove the bolt and engine oil level dipstick guide.
Remove the O-ring from the engine oil level dipstick guide.
DISCONNECT NO. 1 TURBO WATER PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Slide the 2 clamps and disconnect the No. 1 turbo water hose and No. 2 turbo water hose from the No. 1 turbo water pipe sub-assembly.
DISCONNECT NO. 2 TURBO WATER PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Slide the 2 clamps and disconnect the No. 3 turbo water hose and No. 4 turbo water hose from the No. 2 turbo water pipe sub-assembly.
DISCONNECT NO. 1 PCV TUBE
Remove the 2 bolts to disconnect the No. 1 PCV tube from the No. 1 air inlet duct sub-assembly.
Remove the gasket from the No. 1 air inlet duct sub-assembly.
DISCONNECT NO. 2 PCV TUBE
Remove the 2 bolts to disconnect the No. 2 PCV tube from the No. 2 air inlet duct sub-assembly.
Remove the gasket from the No. 2 air inlet duct sub-assembly.
DISCONNECT VACUUM HOSE
for Bank 1:
Detach the clamp to disconnect the vacuum hose from the No. 1 air inlet duct sub-assembly.
for Bank 2:
Detach the 2 clamps to disconnect the vacuum hose from the No. 2 air inlet duct sub-assembly.
REMOVE NO. 1 AIR HOSE
for Bank 1:
Loosen the clamp to remove the No. 1 air hose from the No. 1 compressor outlet elbow.
Loosen the clamp to remove the No. 2 air hose from the No. 1 compressor outlet elbow.
REMOVE NO. 1 TURBO INSULATOR
Remove the 2 bolts, nut and No. 1 turbo insulator.
REMOVE NO. 3 TURBO INSULATOR

Remove the 2 bolts, nut and No. 3 turbo insulator.
REMOVE NO. 1 TURBOCHARGER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the bolt from the No. 1 air inlet duct sub-assembly.
Remove the 3 bolts and turbo water pipe stay.
Remove the 2 bolts and union bolt to disconnect the turbo oil inlet pipe sub-assembly LH.
Remove the gasket from the union bolt.
Remove the gasket from the turbo oil inlet pipe sub-assembly LH.
Remove the 3 nuts and No. 1 turbocharger sub-assembly.
Remove the gasket from the cylinder head sub-assembly.
REMOVE NO. 2 TURBOCHARGER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the bolt from the No. 2 air inlet duct sub-assembly.
Remove the 2 bolts and compressor elbow stay.
Remove the 2 bolts and union bolt to disconnect the turbo oil inlet pipe sub-assembly RH.
Remove the gasket from the union bolt.
Remove the gasket from the turbo oil inlet pipe sub-assembly RH.
Remove the bolt, 3 nuts and No. 2 turbocharger sub-assembly.
Remove the gasket from the cylinder head sub-assembly.
REMOVE NO. 5 TURBO INSULATOR
Remove the bolt and No. 5 turbo insulator from the cylinder head sub-assembly LH.
REMOVE TURBO OIL INLET PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
Remove the 2 nuts and turbo oil inlet pipe sub-assembly RH.
REMOVE TURBO OIL INLET PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
Remove the 2 nuts and turbo oil inlet pipe sub-assembly LH.
REMOVE NO. 1 COMPRESSOR OUTLET ELBOW
Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 compressor outlet elbow.
Remove the gasket.
REMOVE NO. 2 COMPRESSOR OUTLET ELBOW
Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 compressor outlet elbow.
Remove the gasket.
REMOVE NO. 1 AIR INLET DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 air inlet duct sub-assembly.
Remove the gasket.
REMOVE NO. 2 AIR INLET DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 air inlet duct sub-assembly.
Remove the gasket.
REMOVE NO. 1 TURBO WATER PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 turbo water pipe sub-assembly.
Remove the gasket.
REMOVE NO. 2 TURBO WATER PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 turbo water pipe sub-assembly.
Remove the gasket.
REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE COVER
Remove the No. 4 engine cover from the cylinder block sub-assembly.
REMOVE NO. 5 ENGINE COVER
Remove the No. 5 engine cover from the cylinder block sub-assembly.
REMOVE NO. 1 TURBO INSULATOR STAY
Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 turbo insulator stay.
