PROCEDURE
REMOVE REAR WHEEL
DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
Note
Immediately wash off any brake fluid that comes into contact with any painted surfaces.
REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX
LOOSEN LOCK NUT
DISCONNECT NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the cable end of the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly from the rear disc brake cylinder operation lever.

*3 | Offset Wrench (14 mm) |
Insert an offset wrench (14 mm) all the way into the casing cap clip to flex the clip claws and disconnect the parking brake cable.
SEPARATE REAR BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE
Remove the union bolt and gasket and separate the rear flexible hose from the disc brake cylinder assembly.
REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
Hold the rear disc brake pad guide pin and remove the 2 bolts and rear disc brake cylinder assembly.
REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE PAD KIT (PAD ONLY)
Remove the 2 disc brake pads from the rear disc brake cylinder mounting.
REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE ANTI SQUEAL SHIM KIT
Remove the anti squeal shim from the from each brake pads.
REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE PAD SUPPORT PLATE

*2 | No. 2 Rear Disc Brake Pad Support Plate |
Remove the No. 1 rear disc brake pad support plate and No. 2 rear disc brake pad support plate to the rear disc brake cylinder mounting.
Note
Each pad support plate has a different shape. Be sure to put an identification mark on each pad support plate so that they can be installed to their original position.
REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER SLIDE PIN
Remove the 2 rear disc brake cylinder slide pins from the disc brake cylinder mounting.
REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE BUSH DUST BOOT
Remove the 2 rear disc brake bush dust boots from the rear disc brake cylinder mounting.
REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER MOUNTING
Remove the 2 bolts and the rear disc brake cylinder mounting from the axle beam.
REMOVE REAR DISC

Place matchmarks on the disc and axle hub and remove the rear disc.
