BACK WINDOW STAY REMOVAL

Tip:

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE BACK WINDOW STAY ASSEMBLY LH

      Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, remove the 2 stop rings as shown in the illustration, and then remove the back window stay.

      CAUTION:

      Remove the back window stay while supporting the back door with one hand.

      Tip:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR STAY BOLT

    1. Remove the back door stay bolt.
