HOOD DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

    1. B324717

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disengage the guide and disconnect the No. 1 water hose clamp bracket.

    3. for LHD:

      1. B332347

        Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly.

    4. for RHD:

      1. B324723

        Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly.

    5. w/o Engine Hood Courtesy Switch:

      1. B332341

        Remove the 3 bolts and hood lock assembly.

    6. w/ Engine Hood Courtesy Switch:

      1. B332350

        Remove the 3 bolts.

      2. Disconnect the connector and remove the hood lock assembly.

  2. REMOVE HOOD INSULATOR (w/ Hood Insulator)

    1. B332345

      Remove the 6 hood insulator clips.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the hood insulator.

  3. REMOVE HOOD TO RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL (w/ Hood To Radiator Support Seal)

    1. B324712

      Using a clip remover, disengage the 6 hood to cowl top seal clips and remove the hood to radiator support seal.

  4. REMOVE WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. DISCONNECT WASHER HOSE ASSEMBLY

    1. B332346

      Disengage the 6 clamps and disconnect the washer hose assembly.

  6. REMOVE HOOD MOULDING CLIP

    1. B324714

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the hood moulding clip as shown in the illustration.
