CONDENSER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

    1. E295850

      Engage the 2 guides to install the cooler condenser assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Note:

      Do not damage the condenser or radiator when installing the cooler condenser assembly.

      Tip:

      If a new cooler condenser assembly is installed, add compressor oil to the condenser as follows.

      Compressor Oil

      Standard Volume

      VC200YF or equivalent

      40 cc (1.35 fl.oz)

    2. Install the 2 bolts to the cooler condenser assembly.

      9.8 N*m

      100 kgf*cm

      87 in.*lbf

  2. CONNECT AIR CONDITIONER TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the vinyl tape from the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly and the connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.

    2. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly.

      Compressor Oil

      VC200YF or equivalent

    3. Install the 2 O-rings to the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly.

    4. Install the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly to the cooler condenser assembly with the bolt.

      9.8 N*m

      100 kgf*cm

      87 in.*lbf

  3. CONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the vinyl tape from the discharge hose sub-assembly and the connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.

    2. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the discharge hose sub-assembly.

      Compressor Oil

      VC200YF or equivalent

    3. Install the 2 O-rings to the discharge hose sub-assembly.

    4. Install the discharge hose sub-assembly to the cooler condenser assembly with the bolt.

      9.8 N*m

      100 kgf*cm

      87 in.*lbf

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

    1. Engage the 3 claws to install No. 2 radiator side air seal.

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

    1. Engage the 2 claws to install No. 1 radiator side air seal.

    2. Install the clip.

  6. INSTALL FRONT UPPER BUMPER SUPPORT

  7. INSTALL THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY

  8. CHARGE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH REFRIGERANT

  9. WARM UP ENGINE
