FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

    1. B364977

      Engage the 3 hooks.

    2. B364976

      Push in the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly to engage the 3 hooks.

    3. Install the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly with the 2 screws.

  2. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY

  3. CONNECT INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG CONNECTOR

    1. Check that the ignition switch is off.

    2. Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal.

      CAUTION:

      Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

      Connect the instrument panel passenger airbag connector.

      Note:

      When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
