When the stop and start system does not operate, check whether the operation is prohibited because the battery conditions are not met.

When Prohibit is displayed, the stop and start control will be prohibited until the ignition switch is turned off.

Check the battery condition and recharge or replace the battery

Integrated current value is limited for stop and start control due to battery temperature (too high/low)
Leave the battery under room temperature conditions until its temperature becomes as specified. Then check the battery condition and recharge or replace the battery.
After recharging the battery, initialize the integrated current value* and drive the vehicle until stop and start control operation is permitted (approximately 15 to 40 minutes).
*: Disconnect the cables from the battery, wait for 30 seconds or more and then reconnect the cables.
When the battery sensor current value is normal, recharge or replace the battery
