HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM Pattern Select Switch Eco Mode Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When selecting ECO mode, the ECO mode switch (combination switch assembly) operation signal is sent to the air conditioning amplifier assembly. Following this, ECO mode control is activated for the heater and air conditioning system.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (CAN BUS CHECK)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / CAN Bus Check.

      Result
      Result Proceed to
      All of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed. A
      None of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed, or some of them are not displayed. B
    4. Turn the power switch off.

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HEALTH CHECK)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.

    4. Check DTCs.

      Result

      No DTCs are output. A
      DTCs are output. B
    5. Turn the power switch off.

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (INDICAT. ECO MODE)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test / Indicat. ECO Mode.

    4. Perform the "Indicat. ECO MODE" Active Test.

      OK
      The ECO MODE indicator light comes on or blinks.

    5. Turn the power switch off.

    4. Read the value displayed on the GTS.

    1. Remove the ECO mode switch (combination switch assembly).

  7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECO MODE SWITCH (COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY) - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the L143 ECO mode switch (combination switch assembly) connector.

    1. Disconnect the L17 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the L143 ECO mode switch (combination switch assembly) connector.
