OIL COOLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for Half Cover Type)

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for Full Cover Type)

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for Metal Type)

  4. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH (for 1ZR-FAE)

  5. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH (for 1ZR-FE)

    Click here

  6. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH (for 2ZR-FE)

  7. DRAIN CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE FLUID

    Click here

  8. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for 1ZR-FAE)

    Click here

  9. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for 1ZR-FE)

    Click here

  10. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for 2ZR-FE)

    Click here

  11. DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE

    1. C151670

      Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses from the transmission oil cooler.

  12. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER

    1. C264596

      Remove the 3 bolts and transmission oil cooler from the continuously variable transaxle assembly.

    2. Remove the 2 O-rings from the transmission oil cooler.
