DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the display signal from an external device to the radio and display receiver assembly via this circuit.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the L35 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the L174 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L35-13 (VV+) - L174-6 (VV+) Always Below 1 Ω
      L35-14 (VV-) - L174-11 (VV-) Always Below 1 Ω
      L35-13 (VV+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L35-14 (VV-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L35-12 (SG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
