REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Bench Seat Type) DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame may injure your hands.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

    1. Remove the 35 hog rings.

    2. Remove the 16 hog rings and bench type rear seat cushion cover from the rear seat cushion pad.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER LH

  3. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

    1. Disengage the 11 hooks.

    2. Disengage the 8 claws and remove the 4 rear seat headrest supports.

      Remove the bench type rear seatback cover with pad from the rear seatback frame sub-assembly as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER

    1. Remove the 22 hog rings and bench type rear seatback cover from the bench type rear seatback pad.

  6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
