FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Manual Seat) DISASSEMBLY

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

      Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, detach the claw to remove the reclining adjuster release handle LH.

      Tip:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  2. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE LH (for Driver Side)

      Remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle LH.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

      Detach the 2 clips and claw.

      Detach the claw and 3 guides to remove the front seat cushion shield LH as indicated by the arrows in the order shown in the illustration.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Detach the claw and 3 guides to remove the front seat cushion shield RH as indicated by the arrows in the order shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

      Detach the 2 claws and 3 guides to remove the front inner seat cushion shield LH as indicated by the arrows in the order shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Detach the 2 claws and 3 guides to remove the front inner seat cushion shield RH as indicated by the arrows in the order shown in the illustration.

  7. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the rubber band.

      Detach the 4 wire harness clamps and connector clamp.

      Detach the fastener to disconnect the wire harness of the front seat airbag assembly LH.

      w/ Seat Heater System:

      1. Detach the connector clamp and wire harness clamp.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback assembly.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Detach the 3 hooks.

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

      Open the 2 fasteners.

      Detach the 4 claws to remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      for Dual Type:

      1. Remove the 2 nuts.

    2. B345042

      for Single Type:

      1. Remove the nut.

    3. Pull the separate type front seatback cover bracket from the separate type front seatback pad.

    4. B433028

      Remove the 8 hog rings and separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK PAD

    1. Remove the separate type front seatback pad from the separate type front seatback spring assembly LH.

  12. REMOVE SEATBACK FELT

    1. Remove the seatback felt from the separate type front seatback spring assembly LH.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH

  14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

    1. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Wire Harness Clamp

        Connector Clamp

        Detach the 4 wire harness clamps and connector clamp to disconnect the wire harness of the front seat cushion heater.

    2. for Driver Side:

      1. Detach the 12 hooks to remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

      1. Detach the 11 hooks to remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

        w/ Occupant Detection Sensor:

        Detach the clamp and disconnect the connector.

  15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

    1. Remove the 21 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

      Detach the 2 wire harness clamps and connector clamp.

    3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly LH.

    4. Remove the seat belt anchor plate.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

        Detach the 2 wire harness clamps and connector clamp.

      3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly RH.

        Disconnect the connector.

        Detach the clamp.

      3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly RH.

    3. Remove the seat belt anchor plate.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side, w/ Occupant Classification System)

      Detach the claw to disconnect the connector.

    2. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

    3. Detach the 4 clamps to remove the front seat wire RH.

  21. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side, w/ Occupant Classification System)

  22. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the hook in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

      Detach the clip to remove the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

  23. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

  24. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

      Remove the front outer seat cushion edge protector LH in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

  25. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the front outer seat cushion edge protector LH.

  26. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Remove the front outer seat cushion edge protector RH in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

  27. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the front seat outer cushion edge protector RH.

  28. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

    1. Detach the 2 hooks to remove the seat track adjusting handle in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

  29. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

    1. Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly LH.
