1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Light Control Switch Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 19 (A) - 12 (EL) Light control switch off 10 kΩ or higher 20 (H) - 12 (EL) 10 kΩ or higher 19 (A) - 12 (EL) 10 kΩ or higher 18 (T) - 12 (EL) Light control switch in tail position Below 1 Ω 18 (T) - 12 (EL) Light control switch in head position Below 1 Ω 20 (H) - 12 (EL) Below 1 Ω 19 (A) - 12 (EL) [*1] Light control switch in AUTO position Below 1 Ω
         Dimmer Switch Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 11 (HU) - 12 (EL) Dimmer switch in high position Below 1 Ω 11 (HU) - 12 (EL) Dimmer switch in high flasher position Below 1 Ω 17 (HF) - 12 (EL) Below 1 Ω
         Turn Signal Switch Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 13 (TR) - 12 (EL) Right turn Below 1 Ω 13 (TR) - 12 (EL) Neutral 10 kΩ or higher 15 (TL) - 12 (EL) 10 kΩ or higher 15 (TL) - 12 (EL) Left turn Below 1 Ω
         Front Fog Light Switch*2 Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 3 (LFG) - 4 (BFG) Front fog light switch off 10 kΩ or higher 3 (LFG) - 4 (BFG) Front fog light switch on Below 1 Ω
         Rear Fog Light Switch*3 Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 3 (LFG) - 2 (B) Front fog light switch off 10 kΩ or higher 3 (LFG) - 2 (B) Front fog light switch on Below 1 Ω

         *1: w/ Automatic Light Control System

         *2: w/ Front Fog Light

         *3: w/ Rear Fog Light

         If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch assembly.

         If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch assembly.
