EGR VALVE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

  2. REMOVE EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY

    1. A195947

      Disconnect the water hose and connector from the EGR valve assembly.

    2. Slide the clip and disconnect the water hose from the EGR valve assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and EGR valve assembly.

    4. Remove the EGR valve gasket from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE STUD BOLT

    Tip:

    If a stud bolt is deformed or the threads are damaged, replace it.

    1. A247566

      Using an E8 "TORX" wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts.
