REFRIGERANT LINE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL PIPING CLAMP (for Front Side)


    1. Remove the vinyl tape from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A and liquid tube sub-assembly A.

    2. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surfaces of the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

      Compressor Oil
      Refrigerant Compressor Oil
      HFC-134a (R134a) ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
      HFO-1234yf (R1234yf) ND-OIL 12 or equivalent
    3. Install the 2 O-rings to the liquid tube sub-assembly A.

      Note

      Keep the O-rings and O-ring fitting surfaces free of foreign matter.

    4. Install the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A to the liquid tube sub-assembly A.

      Note


      • Make sure not to cut the O-ring while installing it. (Cut O-rings cannot be installed)

      • Check that the assemblies are securely engaged.

      Install the piping clamp to the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A and liquid tube sub-assembly A.

      Note

      Make sure that the piping clamp is engaged securely with no gap.

  2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  3. INSTALL PIPING CLAMP (for Rear Side)


    1. Remove the vinyl tape from the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly and cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

    2. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surfaces of the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

      Compressor Oil
      Refrigerant Compressor Oil
      HFC-134a (R134a) ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
      HFO-1234yf (R1234yf) ND-OIL 12 or equivalent
    3. Install the 2 O-rings to the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

      Note

      Keep the O-rings and O-ring fitting surfaces free of foreign matter.

    4. Connect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A to the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

      Note


      • Make sure not to cut the O-ring while installing it. (Cut O-rings cannot be installed)

      • Check that the assemblies are securely engaged.

  4. CHARGE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH REFRIGERANT

  7. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR

  8. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL
