PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (for HFC-134a(R134a))

  2. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (for HFO-1234yf(R1234yf))

  3. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE COWL BODY MOUNTING REINFORCEMENT LH (for LHD)

  5. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

    Click here

  6. REMOVE COWL BODY MOUNTING REINFORCEMENT RH (for RHD)

    Click here

  7. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

    Click here

  8. DISCONNECT SUCTION PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  9. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONER TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

  10. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE

      Using a 4 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts.

      *a Bolt for Suction Pipe Sub-assembly

      Temporarily install the bolt for the suction pipe sub-assembly halfway to the cooler expansion valve.

      Hold the bolt and pull it to remove the cooler expansion valve as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the 2 O-rings from the No. 1 cooler evaporator sub-assembly.
