FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Power Seat) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the 4 guides.

    2. Install the separate type front seatback spring assembly to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR


    1. A005CT0

      Engage the 2 guides to install the No. 2 front seat cushion protector to the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

    2. Install the screw.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 front seat cushion protector.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH


    1. A005AKC

      Engage the clip to install the front seat lower cushion shield LH to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

    2. Install the screw.

      Engage the hook as shown in the illustration.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Engage the 2 guides to install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH to the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. A005BTC

      Engage the 3 clamps to install the No. 2 front seat wire to the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.

  10. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Using hog ring pliers, connect the fastening rubber to the separate type front seatback pad with 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with 5 new hog rings

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover.

  11. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Temporarily install the separate type front seatback cover with pad to the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    3. A005BW7

      Install the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • For vehicles with side airbags, the separate type front seatback cover must be securely installed. Otherwise, the front seat airbag assembly may not deploy properly.

      • Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the nut.

      • Install the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover securely.

    4. Turn back the separate type front seatback cover to its original position.

      Using hog ring pliers, connect the 2 fastening rubbers to the front seatback spring with 3 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover.

    6. A005DKM

      Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover.

    7. A005BCK

      Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover.

  12. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. A005BNQ

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 15 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  13. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Engage each hook as shown in the illustration to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

      Engage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

    3. A005AJM

      Engage the fastener to secure the side airbag wire harness.

    4. Engage the clamp.

    5. Connect the connector.

      Engage the 3 clamps to secure the seat heater wire harness.

      Engage the 4 hooks.

    8. A005BMO

      Connect the rubber band.

  14. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD


    1. A005DPG

      Engage the 5 claws to install the front inner seat cushion shield.

  15. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEAT WIRE

      Engage the 2 claws and 2 clamps to install the No. 1 front seat wire to the front seat cushion shield.

  16. INSTALL LUMBAR SWITCH (POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

  18. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Engage the 4 claws to install the reclining power seat switch knob.

  19. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Engage the 4 claws to install the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

      Engage the clamp.

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.

    3. A005C92

      Engage the guide and 5 claws.

    4. Engage the clip to install the front seat cushion shield assembly.

    5. A005A99

      Engage the 6 clamps to connect the No. 1 front seat wire.

    6. Connect the 4 connectors.

  21. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Install the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

  22. INSTALL FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Install the clip to the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield.

    2. A005ABR

      Engage the 3 guides and 3 claws to install the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield.

    3. A005CE4

      Engage the clip.

    4. A005E7M

      Install the screw.
