REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Separate Seat Type) DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame may injure your hands.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

    1. Remove the 35 hog rings.

    2. for Fabric Seat:

      1. Remove the 16 hog rings and bench type rear seat cushion cover from the rear seat cushion pad.

    3. for Leather Seat:

      1. Remove the 12 hog rings and bench type rear seat cushion cover from the rear seat cushion pad.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER LH

    1. Disengage the 2 claws (A) in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the claw (B) in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the rear seatback lock striker cover LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (3) shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH

      Disengage the 6 hooks.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

      Remove the separate type rear seatback cover with pad LH from the rear seatback frame sub-assembly as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH

    1. for Fabric Seat:

      1. B371324

        Remove the 11 hog rings and separate type rear seatback cover LH from the separate type rear seatback pad LH.

    2. for Leather Seat:

        Remove the 8 hog rings and separate type rear seatback cover LH from the separate type rear seatback pad LH

  7. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw and rear seatback lock sub-assembly LH.

  9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Disengage the guide.

      Remove the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly LH as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

  11. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
