WATER PUMP INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL ELECTRIC WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the electric water pump assembly with the 2 bolts to the water pump bracket sub-assembly.

      Torque:

      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

2. INSTALL WATER PUMP BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. for 2WD:

      
      

      1. Install the water pump bracket sub-assembly with the 3 bolts.

         Torque:

         8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

   2. for AWD:

      
      

      1. Install the water pump bracket sub-assembly with the 3 bolts.

         Torque:

         8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

   3. Connect the connector and attach the clamp.

3. CONNECT INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER INLET HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the intercooler cooling water hose to the electric water pump assembly, and slide the clip to secure the hose.

      Note

      
      

      • Install so that the intercooler cooling water hose paint mark and electric water pump assembly positioning stopper are securely overlapped.

      • Install the clip so that it faces the rear of the vehicle from the intercooler cooling water inlet hose.

4. INSTALL INTERCOOLER RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY LH

6. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT TO CROSSMEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

7. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT TO CROSSMEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

8. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR

   Click here

9. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

   Click here

10. INSTALL RADIATOR COVER PLATE

    Click here

11. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

12. ADD COOLANT (for Intercooler)

13. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Intercooler)
