GENERATOR(for 80A Type) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. A287463E01

      Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Bolt A

      54 N*m

      551 kgf*cm

      40 ft.*lbf

      Bolt B

      35 N*m

      357 kgf*cm

      26 ft.*lbf

    2. Engage the 2 wire harness clamps.

    3. Install the 2 wire harness brackets with the 3 bolts.

      8.4 N*m

      86 kgf*cm

      74 in.*lbf

    4. Connect the 2 connectors and 2 clamps.

    5. Connect the wire harness to terminal B and install the nut.

      9.8 N*m

      100 kgf*cm

      87 in.*lbf

    6. Install the terminal cap.

  2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
