THERMOSTAT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

  2. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS HOSE (for CVT)

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 4 WATER BY-PASS HOSE (for Manual Transaxle)

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. A350055

      Remove the 2 bolts and water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 WATER INLET HOUSING GASKET

    1. Remove the No. 2 water inlet housing gasket from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.
