| U1103 | Lost Communication with Stop and Start Control Module |
| U114C | Lost Communication with Suspension Control Module 1 |
DESCRIPTION
The absorber control ECU receives signals from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly)*1, skid control ECU assembly*2, steering sensor, engine stop and start ECU*3, acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor), VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU)*4, suspension control ECU*5 and ECM via CAN communication.
When DTCs indicating a CAN communication system malfunction are output, repair the CAN communication system first.
*1: w/ Vacuum Brake Booster
*2: w/o Vacuum Brake Booster
*3: w/ Stop and Start System
*4: w/ Variable Gear Ratio Steering System
*5: w/ Air Suspension System

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Note
Before performing troubleshooting, inspect the connectors of related circuits.
If DTC C1782 (Power Source Voltage Malfunction) is output at the same time, perform troubleshooting for C1782 first.
Before replacing the absorber control ECU, perform all of the following:
Symptom simulation.
DTC inspection.
GTS inspection.
If no malfunctions are found in other areas, replace the absorber control ECU.
After replacing the absorber control ECU with a new one, perform registration of vehicle identification information.
PROCEDURE
CHECK FOR DTCS
Clear the DTCs.
Turn the engine switch off.
Drive the vehicle at a speed of 30 km/h (19 mph) or more for 10 seconds or more.
Check for DTCs.
