If the telematics transceiver (Data Communication Module [DCM]) detects an error in communication between the telematics transceiver (Data Communication Module [DCM]) and center airbag sensor assembly as a result of the telematics transceiver (Data Communication Module [DCM]) self check, this DTC will be stored.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER [DATA COMMUNICATION MODULE (DCM)] - CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the G56 telematics transceiver (Data Communication Module [DCM]) connector.

    2. Disconnect the G1 center airbag sensor assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      1. Check the signal waveform according to the condition(s) in the table below. (Check the waveform from the back of the wire harness connector of the telematics transceiver (Data Communication Module [DCM]) while the center airbag sensor assembly connectors are connected.)
