OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR(for Hatchback, Wagon) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD)

   1. Temporarily install the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad) to the separate type front seat cushion cover.

   2. 

      Using hog ring pliers, install 13 new hog rings.

      Note:

      • Be careful not to damage the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad).

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

4. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

5. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

7. CONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

8. CONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY
