REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY (for Standard)
Note
Take extra care when handling these precision electronic components.

Remove in this Direction |
Push the release hook knob and remove the mechanical key as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

Protective Tape |
Insert a precision screwdriver into the gap, and turn the screwdriver to remove the transmitter housing cover.
Tech Tips
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

Insert a precision screwdriver into the gap and gently remove the transmitter battery (lithium battery: CR2032).
Note
Do not push the terminals with your finger.
Do not forcibly pry up the transmitter battery as the terminals may be damaged.
Do not touch the transmitter battery with wet hands. Moisture may cause rust.
Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter. It may interfere with proper operation.
When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the electrical transmitter from being damaged.
Tech Tips
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY HOUSING COVER (for Card Type)

Remove in this Direction |
Lightly hold and pull the transmitter battery housing cover out in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
Note
Do not insert a screwdriver, etc. between the transmitter housing case and transmitter battery housing cover and forcefully bend the transmitter battery housing cover. This will deform the transmitter battery housing cover.
Tech Tips
If the transmitter battery housing cover is held too firmly, it becomes harder to pull out.
If the transmitter battery housing cover is slippery and it is difficult to pull it out, use non-slip gloves to pull the transmitter battery housing cover out.

Remove the transmitter battery (lithium battery: CR2412).
Note
