CONDENSER(for 1WW) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (for HFC-134a(R134a))

  2. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (for HFO-1234yf(R1234yf))

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 RADIATOR AIR GUIDE

  7. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO CROSS MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. E320745

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the condenser with receiver assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.

      Note:

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  9. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONER TUBE ASSEMBLY

    1. E320746

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the air conditioner tube assembly from the condenser with receiver assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the air conditioner tube assembly.

      Note:

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  10. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT

  11. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  12. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  13. REMOVE CONDENSER WITH RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

    1. E320747

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the condenser with receiver assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Note:

      Do not damage the condenser with receiver assembly or radiator when removing the condenser with receiver assembly.
