LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY(for Hatchback) REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Tip:

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

      Protective Tape

      Using pliers, disengage the claw and guide as shown in the illustration.

      Note:

      Do not apply excessive force to the claw of the license plate light assembly as it may be damaged.

      Tip:

      Tape the tips of the pliers before use.

    2. E345527N01

      Pull out the license plate light assembly as indicated by arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

    3. E264538

      Disconnect the connector to remove the license plate light assembly.

  2. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT BULB

    1. E264539

      Turn the license plate light socket with the license plate light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove them as a unit.

    2. Remove the license plate light bulb from the license plate light socket.
