FUNCTION
By switching the vacuum switching valve on and off based on the engine speed signal sent by the ECM, the amount of vacuum between the vacuum pump assembly and rear engine mounting insulator is controlled.
When the vacuum switching valve is on, vacuum is not applied to the front and rear engine mounting insulator and the diaphragm is closed. At this time, liquid passes through the idle orifices, reducing the spring constant.
When the vacuum switching valve is off, vacuum is applied to the front and rear engine mounting insulator and the diaphragm is open. At this time, liquid passes through the lock-up orifice, reducing the spring constant.
