PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  2. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER

    Click here

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR COVER

    Click here

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

    Click here

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

    Click here

  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  8. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Move the shift lever to N.

    2. A001WBB

      Remove the nut and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the control shaft lever.

    3. Remove the clip and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.

  9. REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH


    1. A001XT5

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A001UN9

      Remove the nut, washer and control shaft lever from the park/neutral position switch.

    3. A001TYM

      Using a screwdriver, pry out the lock plate and remove the lock nut and lock plate from the park/neutral position switch.

    4. A001XP4

      Remove the 2 bolts and park/neutral position switch from the continuously variable transaxle assembly.
