FUEL PUMP REASSEMBLY

Note

Do not try to remove the nylon tube as it is welded to the fuel suction with pump and gauge tube assembly Click here.


  1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP


    1. w/ Dual VVT-i:


      1. Install the fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump.

    2. Apply gasoline to a new O-ring and install the O-ring to the fuel pump.

    3. Connect the fuel pump harness connector to the fuel pump.

    4. Attach the 5 claws to the claw holes to install the fuel pump to the fuel filter assembly.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUB-TANK


    1. Attach the 5 claws to the claw holes to install the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

      Note

      Do not damage the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

    2. Attach the claw and 2 clamps to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

    3. Connect the jet pump to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

  3. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

      Set the fuel sender gauge assembly on the No. 1 fuel sub-tank. Then slide the fuel sender gauge assembly downward to install it.

    2. Connect the fuel sender gauge connector and fuel pump harness connector.
