CLUTCH PEDAL(for RHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY

  2. DISCONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CABLE ASSEMBLY

    Clutch Release Cable Adjusting Nut

    1. Turn and loosen the clutch release cable adjusting nut.

    2. C303617

      Disconnect the clutch release cable assembly from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  3. DISCONNECT CONNECTORS

  4. DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS

      Disengage the clamp and disconnect the wire harness from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Clutch Pedal Switch Assembly)

  6. REMOVE CONNECTOR MALE HOUSING (w/o Clutch Pedal Switch Assembly)

  7. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN HOLE COVER PLATE

    Click here

  8. SEPARATE NO. 2 STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and clutch pedal support sub-assembly from the vehicle body.

  10. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL STOPPER BOLT

      Loosen the clutch pedal stopper nut and remove the clutch pedal stopper bolt and clutch pedal stopper nut from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  11. REMOVE NO. 2 CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  12. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE CABLE GROMMET

      Remove the clutch release cable grommet from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  13. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING

    1. C303622

      Remove the clutch pedal spring from the clutch pedal sub-assembly and clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  14. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. C303623

      Remove the nut and bolt.

    2. Remove the clutch pedal sub-assembly from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  15. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL BUSHING

    1. C303625

      Remove the 2 clutch pedal bushings from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  16. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SHAFT COLLAR

    1. C304470

      Remove the clutch pedal shaft collar from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 CLUTCH PEDAL CUSHION

    1. Remove the No. 1 clutch pedal cushion from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  18. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL PAD

    1. C303624

      Remove the clutch pedal pad from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.
