OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR GLASS REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Moulding Remover

      *2

      Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH.

    2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws of the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

      Protective Tape

      Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws of the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

      Disconnect the connector and remove the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH.

      w/ Blind Spot Monitor:

      1. Disconnect the connector and remove the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH.
