PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:C1A11, C1A14

DTC Code DTC Name
C1A11 Front Radar Sensor Incorrect Axial Gap
C1A14 Front Radar Sensor Beam Axis Not Adjusted

DESCRIPTION

When the system determines that the vehicle is driving straight ahead based on signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly), etc., the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly performs self-diagnosis to check if the sensor beam axis is misaligned.

C1A11 is output when it is determined that the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly beam axis is misaligned.

If sensor beam axis adjustment is not performed after installing a new millimeter wave radar sensor assembly, C1A14 is output.

DTC No. Detection Item DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1A11 Front Radar Sensor Incorrect Axial Gap After the ignition switch is turned to ON, misalignment of the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly continues for 0.1 seconds or more Millimeter wave radar sensor assembly
C1A14 Front Radar Sensor Beam Axis Not Adjusted At a vehicle speed of 10 km/h (7 mph) or higher, axis misalignment of the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly was not adjusted for 0.1 seconds or more Millimeter wave radar sensor assembly

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

  • When replacing the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly, always replace it with a new one.

  • When the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the radar sensor beam axis must be performed.
