DESCRIPTION

The parking brake ECU assembly receives vehicle tilt information from the deceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) via CAN communication.

  • Diagnosis Condition:

    Engine switch on (IG)

  • Malfunction Status:

    Malfunction signal input from deceleration sensor

  • Malfunction Duration:

    Approximately 0.3 seconds


    Detection Condition 2:

  • Diagnosis Condition:

    From when the vehicle speed is 30 km/h (19 mph) or more until just before the vehicle stops (exceeds 0 km/h (0 mph), but below 1 km/h (1 mph))

  • Malfunction Status:

    The difference between the maximum and minimum value of the deceleration sensor is less than 0.288 m/s2

  • Malfunction Duration:

    The malfunction status repeats 16 times


    Detection Condition 3:

  • Diagnosis Condition:

    Driving at a vehicle speed of 1 km/h (1 mph) or more

  • Malfunction Status:

    The difference between the output values for deceleration sensor 1 and 2 is 5.884 m/s2or more

  • Malfunction Duration:

    60 seconds
