REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Seat Cushion 60/40 Split Type) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Detach the 2 No. 1 fold seat stopper band assemblies from the stay of the rear seat headrest assembly.

    2. Remove the 2 rear seat headrest assemblies.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY (w/ Center Headrest)


    1. Remove the rear seat center headrest assembly.

  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 nuts.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the rear seat center armrest assembly.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST ARM RH

      Remove the bolt, bush and rear seat armrest arm RH.

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST ARM LH

    Use the same procedure described for the RH side.

  6. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Using moulding remover A, detach the claw and pull up as shown in the illustration.

      Pull up as shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the rear seat center armrest cup holder sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

      w/o Center Headrest:

      Detach the claw and remove the 4 rear No. 1 seat headrest support assemblies.

      Detach the claw and remove the 6 rear No. 1 seat headrest support assemblies.

  8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Detach the hooks.

      Pull out the rear end of the rear seatback cover with pad in remove in this direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    3. Lift up in remove in this direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the rear seatback cover with pad.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 12 hog rings and No. 1 seatback cover sub-assembly from the No. 1 seatback pad.

  10. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE


    1. Remove the seat cover wire.

  11. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD RH

      Detach the hook.

    2. Pull out the 2 fasteners.

      Open the 2 fasteners.

      Pass the No. 1 fold seat stopper band assembly through the hole of the No. 1 seat cushion cover sub-assembly RH.

      Remove the rear seat cushion cover with pad RH from the No. 1 seat cushion frame sub-assembly RH.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      Remove the 12 hog rings and No. 1 seat cushion cover sub-assembly RH from the No. 1 seat cushion pad RH.

  13. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

  14. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD LH

      Detach the hook.

    2. Pull out the 2 fasteners.

      Open the 2 fasteners.

      Pass the No. 1 fold seat stopper band assembly through the hole of the No. 1 seat cushion cover sub-assembly LH.

      Remove the rear seat cushion cover with pad LH from the No. 1 seat cushion frame sub-assembly LH.

  15. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 12 hog rings and No. 1 seat cushion cover sub-assembly LH from the No. 1 seat cushion pad LH.

  16. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

  17. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER RH

      Pull in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    2. Pull in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the rear seat cushion cover RH.

  18. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

  19. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SIDE BRACKET RH

      Remove the 2 bolts, bush and rear seat cushion side bracket RH.

  21. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      Remove the nut and No. 1 seat cushion frame sub-assembly RH together with the No. 1 seatback hinge sub-assembly RH.

  22. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the nut and No. 1 seat cushion frame sub-assembly LH together with the No. 1 seatback hinge sub-assembly LH.

  28. REMOVE NO. 1 FOLD SEAT STOPPER BAND ASSEMBLY

    Use the same procedure for the opposite side.

      Remove the No. 1 fold seat stopper band assembly from the rear No. 2 seat lock assembly.

  29. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE COVER RH

    Note


    • Perform the following only when replacing the rear seat hinge cover RH.

    • Do not reuse the rear seat hinge cover RH after removing it.

    • Perform the following only when replacing the rear seat hinge cover LH.

    • Do not reuse the rear seat hinge cover LH after removing it.
