    1. Customizing with the GTS

      Tech Tips

      The following items can be customized.

      Note


      • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

      • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

      • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


      1. Connect the GTS.

      2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      3. Turn the GTS on.

      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Air Conditioner.

      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Tester Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Air Inlet Mode Automatic In case of turning the A/C ON to cool the cabin down quickly, this is the function to change the mode automatically to RECIRCULATION mode Automatic or Manual Air Conditioning Control Assembly
        Compressor/Air Inlet DEF Operation LINK Function to automatically turn the A/C on linked with the FRONT DEF button when the A/C is off NORMAL or LINK Air Conditioning Control Assembly
        DEF (PSW/Lock) Mode Setting Link In case of the compressor LOCK or pressor switch ON, this is the function to change the mode automatically to Fresh mode NORMAL or LINK Air Conditioning Control Assembly
        Foot/DEF Automatic Blow Up Function ON Function to increase the blower level automatically when the defroster is ON ON or OFF Air Conditioning Control Assembly
        Foot/DEF Auto Mode Automatic Function to turn the airflow from FOOT/DEF ON automatically when AUTO MODE is ON Automatic or Manual Air Conditioning Control Assembly
        Set Temperature Shift 0°C Function to perform control with the shifted temperature versus the displayed temperature -3°C,-2°C, -1°C, 0°C, +1°C, +2°C, +3°C Air Conditioning Control Assembly
