PURGE VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL PURGE VSV

   
   

   1. Attach the clamp to the purge VSV.

   2. Install the purge VSV to the intake manifold with the bolt.

      Torque:

      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

   3. Attach the clamp and connect the No. 2 vacuum transmitting hose assembly.

   4. Install the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose to the purge VSV.

   5. Connect the fuel vapor feed hose assembly to the purge VSV, and slide the clamp to secure the hose.

   6. Connect the purge VSV connector.

   7. Install the No. 1 check valve to the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose.

   8. Attach the clamp and connect the No. 1 check valve.

   9. Connect the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose to the No. 1 check valve, and slide the clamp to secure the hose.
