DPF SWITCH INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT DPF SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (DPF switch assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Connection Specified Condition
      3 - 4 Switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      3 - 4 Switch ON Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the DPF switch assembly.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the DPF switch illuminates.

      Measurement Condition Switch Condition
      Apply the battery voltage terminal 1 (+) and 2 (-) Mark illumination illuminates
      Apply the battery voltage terminal 5 (+) and 6 (-)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the DPF switch assembly.
