EGR BYPASS VALVE SWITCHING VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE BRACKET (w/o Glow Plug Controller)

   1. Install the vacuum switching valve bracket to the EGR bypass valve switching valve (No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly) with the screw.

      1.4 N*m

      14 kgf*cm

      12 in.*lbf

2. INSTALL EGR BYPASS VALVE SWITCHING VALVE (NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY) (w/o Glow Plug Controller)

   1. Install the EGR bypass valve switching valve (No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly) to the EGR pipe connector with the bolt.

      9.0 N*m

      92 kgf*cm

      80 in.*lbf

   2. Connect the No. 1 vacuum transmitting hose to the EGR bypass valve switching valve (No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly).

   3. Connect the No. 2 vacuum transmitting hose to the EGR bypass valve switching valve (No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly).

   4. Connect the EGR bypass valve switching valve (No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly) connector.

3. INSTALL EGR BYPASS VALVE SWITCHING VALVE (NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY) (w/ Glow Plug Controller)

   1. Install the EGR bypass valve switching valve (No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly) to the EGR pipe connector with the bolt.

      9.0 N*m

   2. Connect the No. 1 vacuum transmitting hose to the EGR bypass valve switching valve (No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly).

   3. Connect the No. 2 vacuum transmitting hose to the EGR bypass valve switching valve (No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly).

   4. Connect the EGR bypass valve switching valve (No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly) connector.

   5. Engage the clamp to the EGR bypass valve switching valve (No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly).

   6. Connect the No. 1 glow plug connector connector.
