CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
If the steering column assembly has been replaced, perform torque sensor zero point calibration.
If the power steering ECU assembly has been replaced, perform assist map writing and torque sensor zero point calibration.

CHECK FOR DTC
Calibrate the torque sensor zero point (step 1).
Chassis > EMPS > Utility
Tester Display
Torque Sensor Adjustment
Check for DTCs (step 2).
Chassis > EMPS > Trouble Codes
Tip:If DTCs are output, perform steps 1 and 2 two more times.
