TORSION BAR SPRING REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  2. REMOVE FENDER APRON MUDGUARD SEAL

      Remove the 4 clips and fender apron mudguard seal.

  3. REMOVE TORSION BAR SPRING

      Slide the dust cover on the anchor arm side and put matchmarks on the torsion bar spring, anchor arm, and front suspension torque arm.

    2. Hold the anchor arm adjust nut and remove the anchor arm lock nut with a wrench (22 x 24 mm).

      Measure dimension A (to be used as a reference dimension in later steps) of the anchor arm adjusting hexagon bolt and note down the length.

    4. Loosen the anchor arm adjust nut to free the torsion bar spring.

      Remove the following parts from the anchor arm.


      1. Anchor arm adjust nut. (Part A)

      2. Anchor arm adjust seat. (Part B)

      3. Anchor arm adjusting hexagon bolt. (Part C)

      4. Anchor arm swivel. (Part D)

    6. Remove the anchor arm and torsion bar spring.

    7. Remove the torsion bar dust cover from the torsion bar spring.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION TORQUE ARM

      Remove the 2 bolts and torque arm from the front suspension upper arm.
