REAR UPPER ARM REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Tip:

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  2. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM COVER LH (w/ Cover)

  3. DISCONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE

      Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the skid control sensor wire from the rear upper control arm assembly LH.

  4. REMOVE REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Using a jack and wooden block, raise the vehicle and hold the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH together with the rear axle carrier at the standard vehicle height.

    2. C127557

      Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and rear upper control arm assembly LH.

      Note:

      Since a stopper nut is used, remove the bolt.
