DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) detects improper installation of the acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) or an abnormality in the difference between the yaw rate sensor value and the control value estimated based on the acceleration sensor, steering sensor and speed sensor signals.

When replacing the acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor), perform zero point calibration and store system information.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (YAW RATE SENSOR)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Select the Data List using the GTS.

  2. CHECK ACCELERATION SENSOR (YAW RATE SENSOR) INSTALLATION


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Check that the acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) has been installed properly.
